Applicant has to make the payment (cash only) at the Bank of China, using ONLY the payment voucher issued by this Consulate General and return the payment receipt to us immediately.

Below are reference guidelines for the legalization of commercial documents. For further information about which document should be legalized, please contact the Argentine Customs through your customer. The Argentine Customs may contact the customs in Hong Kong or China for the verification of the prices.
Documents Issued in Mainland China
A. China certificate of origin for goods shipped from Mainland China directly to Argentina:
• The original C.O. must be consigned to a customer in Argentina and should be legalized in our Representations in China:
- Embassy in Beijing Tel: (86-10) 6532-2090 or
- Consulate General in Shanghai Tel: (86-21) 6339-0322 or
- Consulate General in Guangzhou Tel: (86-20) 3888-0328
B. China certificate of origin for goods shipped from Mainland China or a third country to Argentina through Hong Kong SAR or Macao SAR:
• C.O. must be consigned to a registered company in Hong Kong or Macao.
• 1 copy of C.O. & 1 photocopy endorsed by any registered Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong / Macao. Both with the below declaration at the back of the documents and with original company chop and signature (only one set will be returned to the applicant).
• The route on the C.O. should mention “from…. to HK and then to Argentina by….” Legalization fee: China C.O HKD 1560/set

C. China invoice or invoice from a third country outside Hong Kong/Macao SAR:
• The legalization will be done on the photocopy. 2 photocopies of the invoice (only one set will be returned to the applicant) issued in the country of origin and endorsed by any registered Chamber of Commerce in HK / Macao
• Legalization fee: HKD 1560/set
Documents issued in Hong Kong
1. Hong Kong/Macao Certificate of Origin / without transit / with transhipment
• C.O. should state the name and address of the importer in Argentina, invoice number and invoice date.
• 1 original & 1 duplicate (no photocopy) of C.O. endorsed by any registered Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong or Macao (only one set will be returned to the applicant).
• Legalization Fee: HKD 1560/set
2. Hong Kong/Macao price list or quotation
• 2 originals of Price List endorsed by any registered Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong or Macao (only one set will be returned to the applicant).
• The price list should state the name and address of the importer in Argentina and the date.
• The Price List should not show any information regarding the shipment (e.g. L/C, PO No., PI No., etc.), may only show the item No., description, unit price.
• Legalization Fee: HKD 1560/set
3. Hong Kong/Macao packing list or export declaration or purchase order or bill of lading or airway bill
• 2 originals endorsed by any registered Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (only one set will be returned to the applicant).
• The documents should state the name and address of the importer in Argentina and the date.
• Legalization Fee: HKD 1560/set
4. Hong Kong/Macao commercial invoice
• 2 originals endorsed by any registered Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (only one set will be returned to the applicant).
• The invoice should state: i) date ii) name and address of the importer in Argentina.
• The invoice should state the Country of Origin.
• Legalization Fee: HKD 1560/set
5. Hong Kong proforma invoice
• 2 photocopies of the Proforma Invoice (only one set will be returned to the applicant).
• The Proforma should state i) date and ii) name and address of the importer in Argentina and be endorsed by any registered Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong / Macao.
• Legalization Fee: HKD 1560/set
6. Hong Kong/Macao power of attorney or any other document issued by a notary public
• 1 original and 1 photocopy (original will be returned to the applicant).
• Should bring a copy of the Specimen Signature of the Notary Public issued by the High Court.
