Point no. 2:

Those entering the country with the intention of continuing their journey to another destination, departing within twelve (12) hours of their arrival, provided they present a confirmed departure ticket and have been declared as such by the transportation company, will not be required to have a consular visa.

The aforementioned period of stay may be extended when there are justifiable reasons.

The declaring company will be responsible for the departure of these individuals from the country. Passengers continuing their journey who enter and must depart through the same point of entry or exit must remain within the limits of the airport, station, or point of entry or exit for the time required for resupply, maintenance, or a change of transportation.

In the case described in the preceding paragraph, the National Directorate of Migration (DNM), at the request of the transportation company and under its sole responsibility, may authorize the passenger's temporary departure from the airport, station, or point of entry or exit when circumstances that could be classified as unforeseen events or force majeure might delay their departure for more than twelve (12) hours.

The National Directorate of Migration may retain the passenger's personal documents, in which case it will provide the passenger with a certificate stating their full name, type and number of identification document, and the duration of their stay in the country.

The documents will be returned to the holder upon verification of their departure from Argentine territory.

If a foreign national continuing their journey does not leave Argentine territory within the corresponding timeframe, the National Directorate of Migration will issue a decision that, in its content, scope, and consequences, will be equivalent to their rejection at the border. The responsibility for their return to the country is borne with the company that owns the means of transport on which they have arrived.
