The Consulate General of Argentina in Hong Kong and Macao, and Wines of Argentina -the organization responsible for the global image of Argentine wines- organized the 7th edition of Malbec World Day on the 21st of March 2017 at Grappa´s Cellar  under the slogan "Malbec, the heart of Argentina" paying homage to the Argentine flagship grape.

A seminar was organize on the Argentine wine industry for experts of the local scene, including the media and wine importers, followed by a Wine Competition during which the top Argentine Malbecs were selected by a distinctive judge panel under a Blind Tasting format.

20 wineries from Argentina gathered at Grappa’s restaurant as well, to serve their best labels to more than 100 special invitees. During the event, the winners of the Wine Competition previously held were awarded.
