The invitation letter is required in two cases:
- when a foreign national travels to the Argentine Republic for tourism purposes and stays at the residence of a person living in Argentina;
- when a foreign national travels to the Argentine Republic for business purposes, to attend conferences or trade fairs, or to engage in other technical or professional activities.
The invitation letter may be issued immediately through the online Trámites a Distancia (TAD) platform, or alternatively, in paper format certified by a public notary.
