Applying for a China mainland visa in Hong Kong.

If you do not hold a HKID and reside in Hong Kong, it is usually much easier to apply for a China visa in your home country.

Basic requirements for visa application 1. Passport: original passport (at least six months before expiration) with at least two blank visa pages, and a photocopy of the passport's photo and data page. 2. Visa Application Form and Photo: One completed Visa Application Form with a recently-taken color passport photo (bare-head, full face) against a light background attached. 3. Proof of legal stay or residence status, or various valid certificates relevant to the visa. 4.
